Family Vacation - Part 1

So we're on vacation. Part one of the plan worked great. After leaving the ballgame (Nats make second sweep in a row! Alas, this time to dh's beloved Cards) kids crash nearly all the way to PA. We are staying in these cute cottages, recommended by steph and josh. Cute, cheap, and very convenient - right in the heart of Amish country. Today we spent 7 plus hours at Dutch Wonderland. The kids loved it - oldest daughter (k) went on the roller coaster 4 times. Middle (I) didn't like the baby coaster at all, but loved these little sitting scooter types things you wiggle around on. She could've done that all day. She probably spent an hour on it total. Big man loved the merry go round. We all enjoyed it, although the humidity was killer. Tonight we are taking it easy with fast food for the grown ups and microwave tomato soup for the girls and pick up pasta and canned oranges for big man. Tomorrow we explore Amish country and Strasbourg railroad.

Wow, what a fun vacation. I live so far away from a great amusement park. However, once a year the Montana state fair comes here. It does sound tiring, however!
