Food and Drink Pairings

Now I know I had a recent post about wine, but don't go thinking I'm getting all foodie on you. I had to share this sign I saw at a recent stop at Burger King. Seriously. Burger King. I prefer the Sprite with the Tendercrust. You?

I'm still trying to sort out the dollar meal dilema. On the dollar meal, a double cheeseburger costs $1.00, but a regular cheeseburger on the regular menu is the same price. So, do I go for the cost effective choice at 100% more "meat product" 68% more fat and calories and get the double cheeseburger, or do I ignore fiscal responsibility and increase my cost per bite and get the more "healthy" regular cheeseburger? And essentially, I face the same dilema over my drink of choice (which would be a small diet coke which contains no calories and God-knows-what)at either $1. or $1.59, depending on which menu. Who knew Mc D's required higher level problem solving skills?
